It was worse than most of the wins we have seen in recent elections where the wins tend to be very narrow.

These were mostly all massive margin wins often reversing big wins in districts by Trump and magats prior and turning them into massive wins by Dems. These are points swings we have rarely seen.

So the dems are solely responsible for the shutdown? What about the decision by Trump to defy the court and only fund half of SNAP with contingency funds? How about Trump's Truth Social in which he claimed he would fund none?

I personally couldn't be someone who sits atop a mountain of cash and decrees that other people's hunger is their problem.

It is a sign of pure unadulterated evil. WIth luck we are not an evil country. But we sure do look like it right now.

We are an evil country. We decided that poor people need to be beat up while our president builds a giant gilded ballroom, while our president crows about gilding a bathroom and putting in marble. He throws a Great Gatsby party as if he wants people to know he is evil and hates the poor.

If the Republicans put up a resolution that addressed the issues needed to get the votes, it would pass. If they keep putting up unacceptable resolutions, it will not pass. To open the government appears to require a compromise.
