The other laws I listed, and the children's age of consent, all protect a victim from being harmed. Not imaginary harm, but actual harm.

The laws against gay marriage protect no one. And that is because allowing gay marriage would harm no one.

Ditzy, you claim to know what sort of legal rulings will result in allowing gay marriage. But you show no sign of considering what the court looks for in permitting state action. The court always looks for the state interest. The one for excluding children has been clearly defined by precedent and it has nothing to with a justification of discrimination against sexual deviants. It has to do with protecting the child.

What is the state interest in denying homosexuals the right to marry? There is no good reason and court precedents are not favorable to the usual arguments given.

Do you have a degree in psychology? Because there is not a rational psychologist in the world who would try and deny the harm done to a child by molestation.

You keep forgetting that one little thing and it's beginning to look like it's because you can't argue it.
That one little thing is called ADULT CONSENT.
Children can't give consent and you can't "molest" someone who has CONSENTED to be touched.

You are really setting the bar, really low, for what describes a moron; but I'm still not sure anyone could ever achieve the moronic level you have.

It is called molestation in legal and clinical documents. Because that is what it is. The adult is molesting a child under the age of consent.

YOur attempts at equating the two have failed.

You spin so much I fear you are losing your sanity and post like these make it apparent. Your argument has no relation to reality. Please look into why the courts and state have moved to protect children. It is not based on discrimination.
