I'm not in the healthcare world, so I don’t pretend to have an answer, but I hope something can be figured out for towns like yours. No right now they are not interested in coming back to such a small town.

Right, but should a town that small expect to have a medical center? Your town is less than half the size of my high school and we had a single nurse. Why not we HAD one

It seems pretty clear that it was teetering on the edge of closure before inflation and despite being artificially propped up by the federal government.
And when close and go away they shouldn't cry that got what they voted for.Looks like most of the rural hospitals and clinics in deep red Kansas are gonna close.
Those folks are almost 100% tRumplings.

Financial strains push Kansas hospitals to crisis levels
Many Kansas hospitals, especially in rural parts of the state, are in trouble. Hospitals are sounding the alarm as long-term sustainability approaches crisis levels with challenges stemming from a shortagewww.kake.com
It serves the surrounding county of over 2500 and probably more.Right, but should a town that small expect to have a medical center? Your town is less than half the size of my high school and we had a single nurse.

It stinks for the people there and in the surrounding area, but they decided to live in a tiny town, in the middle of nowhere. It serves the surrounding county of over 2500 and probably more.
Now it's a 40 minute drive to Gothenburg, NE. I predict a lot of dead MAGAts adults and their kids. Sad, but predictable to anyone with a fucking brain or empathy.

Curtis Medical Center to close after 30 years, citing inflation and uncertain federal funding
Citing inflation over the past few years combined with uncertainty of future federal funding, Community Hospital has made the decision to close Curtis Medical Center.www.knopnews2.com
Should people living in a town of 1200 expect to have a medical center?

Your lack of empathy is interesting. Fuck all those kids starving and being murdered in Nigeria and Sudan. They chose to live there, amirite? LOLIt stinks for the people there and in the surrounding area, but they decided to live in a tiny town, in the middle of nowhere.
But they will. And when close and go away they shouldn't cry that got what they voted for.
That escalated quickly.Your lack of empathy is interesting. Fuck all those kids starving and being murdered in Nigeria and Sudan. They chose to live there, amirite? LOL
Remember you said that if you are ever unemployed or down on your luckGood
No. not with Trump and magats in power. Even much larger magat cities should not expect to have medical centers, as the priority is cutting the social spending so the massive tax cuts for the uber rich do not balloon the debt as much as they otherwise would. They needed to do that to satisfy the debt hawk magats who are ok gutting all social programs while also giving tax cuts to the rich.Should people living in a town of 1200 expect to have a medical center?
There are a lot of unfortunate situations and sometimes situations change. If you decide to live in a small town, you are accepting that your life may be different than those who decide to live in a big city. Some differences are good and some are bad. It's probably going to be a long drive to an airport, but you won't have jets flying overhead all day. You may not have a lot of shopping options or specialty stores, but you also won't have A lot of street traffic and noise.. I lived in a very small town in Ohio as a child and we had to drive 40 minutes to Toledo to do any kind of meaningful clothes shopping.A lot of those rural folks were born in that area and stayed. So now they should be faulted for that, because their medical center was closed? Should we also blame crime victims in large cities for living where there's a high crime rate?
The center closed due to inflation, before the Trump changes even went into effect. That is fair. The money that was supporting the hospital belongs to the super-rich. Now they'll get it as Trump planned.
