China and Russia have their eyes on Venezuelan oil and rare earth minerals. Trump wants to keep them both out. Through a position of strength, achieved by doing everything the Democrats despise, he will make a deal. It's going to be great!

I guess he never read any history, we had them during WWI, WWII, Korea, Nam, Iran, Iraq. so why wouldn't we have them again if he takes us to war?

And as I said Trump has said we can NOT have elections if we are at war, It has never stopped us before, But seeing he wants to stay in office he just might issue another EO declaring we can not have elections because we are at war , right after he declares war with somebody, and it won't matter to him that it is Congresses job to declare war not his.

Because he is "America First" and promised to keep America out of these foreign conflicts and wars, that have historically triggered hate and terrorist attacks against Americans.
That is why Trump and America will lead redevelopment of Gaza in the mid east with an eye on turning it into high end beach front property as Trump knows how much Muslim fundamentalists love America taking lead roles in the region. It is also why Trump and America are trying to destabilize Venezuela and force regime change heralding back to the good ole days where America was actively meddling in and using financial and covert military ops to put 'America First' by trying to have toady governments all thru the continent.
It is just Trump fulfilling of a campaign promise by pushing America back into the world as an interventionist force while telling magats he is against all that and focused on America First. Magats, of course fall for it, because they are stupid.
