What do they want? I'll tell you:

Imagine waking up on a Sunday morning, like this one. Looking forward to breakfast of eggs and maybe toast. You hurriedly dress and rush down to the government store, on Sundays they are supposed to have eggs, you might get two. There are already over a thousand people in line

A 1:00 in the afternoon, you finally get into the store. The eggs were gone by 9:00 AM, of course, but there are still a couple loaves of hard, cardboardy bread. The AI lets you have one for the Prole Coupon you have. Then you move on to the weekly allotment of Quinoa, which is the party approved food source. You hope to get some beans, but the AI tells you they are out of stock. Fresh produce is reserved for party bosses, and meat hasn't been seen since grocery stores were nationalized.

You trudge back to the government dorm assigned to you with the 50 pound bag of grass seeds and loaf of bread you are supposed to live on for a week. It's going to be a long walk. Los Angeles is a city of 30 million people and there are only 3 government stores for the city. Private cars are outlawed for all but party bosses. There are supposed to be busses, but they rarely run and will often take longer than walking. The constant breakdowns of the power grid mean that they are rarely charged. The few that do run are crowded and dangerous, and the smell...

When you finally get back to the government housing complex you are assigned to, you trudge up 6 flights of stairs and find that your dorm room has been broken into again. You enter your 6 x 6 room and AI demands you tell her where you have been. You were logged at the government store from 1-1:30 but all other time must be accounted for, AI demands you rate your experience at the government store. Any rating less that perfect will require reeducation and reduced rations.

This is what they want and what they offer.
epic.

thanks for the great writing.

More than 19 "No Kings" demonstrations are scheduled in Columbus—including the Ohio Statehouse—and several of the city's outlying suburbs and rural communities on Oct. 18 as part of a nationwide network of protests against fascism.

Someone's going to be super busy running from one to the other, grabbing people's signs, and "correcting" them with her red pen. :rofl2:

Why do people make up such stupid and blatant lies? Especially ones whose posts are filled with typos, poor syntax, shitty grammar, and weirdo punctuation? :rofl2:
