Porter has been a darling of the people who want bankers and financial companies put in their place. She shows up at investigations with facts, data and information on their practices. Her questioning has hit many news shows . The fact that she is running for governor has resulted in the Trump lie machine focusing on her. The big money interests do not want her to win.

What does this have to do with the OP? The ability to communicate and lead is generally a prerequisite for being governor. And contrary to what some on this board seem to think, being asked how you’d appeal to voters on the other side isn’t a tough question. It’s something every politician gets asked at some point. Her meltdown over that raised eyebrows even among her supporters.

A Democrat is going to win the governor’s race in California. The only question is which one. Are you implying that every other Democrat in the race is a pawn of big money?

And serving in the House isn’t the same as being governor. What you wrote doesn’t address that role or explain why she’s better suited for it than the other candidates.
