OT: I don't play fantasy football but one of you should pick Ken Gainwell as a RB and kick returner. He's stellar!

Great minds think alike I just picked Gainwell off of waivers this week! He has a bye this week, but I'm hoping he'll put up big numbers in the coming weeks!OT: I don't play fantasy football but one of you should pick Ken Gainwell as a RB and kick returner. He's stellar!

Joe was a wild guy. Do you remember his pantie hose commercial.I've always liked the Jets. Even when the Seahawks were in the AFC. I remember rooting for them in the 80's! The Jets - the team of "Broadway Joe". Don Maynard, Mark Gastineau, Vinny Testaverde. I remember Vinny when he was playing for Miami. He always had a priest next to him before each game!
Yes, I do. I also saw the incident live where he started hitting on the sideline reporter drunk off his ass.Joe was a wild guy. Do you remember his pantie hose commercial.
Tom Landry was a World War II B-17 Flying Fortress co-pilot who flew 30 combat missions over Europe for the U.S. Army Air Forces from 1944 to 1945. A few years before he retired he was flying his family in a private plane south of Dallas. His engine quit and Tom set the plane down without a scratch on a high school football practice field. I don't know about you but if I'm in a small private plane and the engine quits Tom Landry is exactly the kind of guy I want as the pilot. I only remember seeing him lose his cool once or twice ever.I have been a die hard RABID Cowboys fans since 1974 and will always be. In fact Ive seen every single televised game since that time. I know , its crazy...but its one of my hobbies and Ive been hooked ever since I first saw Roger and the man in the funny hat standing on the sidelines. I have been to Texas stadium 4 times and Jerry World three times. As an added bonus I am Wisconsin through and through,...but I despise the Packers with a burning passion.
Randy White tells a funny story about Joe. Apparently Joe and the Jets were playing the last game of the season and the jets were out of the playoffs. It was cold as balls and Joe got sacked. The plays came out of the pile and Joe laid motionless on the ground. Randy White panicked and started waving to the sidelines for help. Joe tugged on White's leg and got his attention. Then Joe winked at White then continued to fake unconsciousness. Joe just wanted to get out of the cold weather. He wasn't hurt at all.Yes, I do. I also saw the incident live where he started hitting on the sideline reporter drunk off his ass.
I remember back in about 1979 or so the Cowboys were playing the Rams on MNF in L.A. A death threat was called in on Landry that there may be a shooter in the crowd. He went in the locker room under police escort, slipped on a bullet proof vest and came back out to coach the rest of the game. Cool as a cucumber....Tom Landry was a World War II B-17 Flying Fortress co-pilot who flew 30 combat missions over Europe for the U.S. Army Air Forces from 1944 to 1945. That's a good story. I remember living in Dallas in the 90's going to Randy White's Steakhouse off I-35 south of the LBJ. I think that was the place where the lady swung on a swing from the ceiling of the place.Randy White tells a funny story about Joe. They are 500 right now. They are getting used to not having Parsons. They may should have traded Dak and kept Parsons. Dak should have attracted so good offers.cowboys are a dumpster fire
They might be as bad as the 1-15 Cowboys that led to Landry being fired
Sadly it is the GM that needs let go
30 missions over Europe in WWII will do that to you.I remember back in about 1979 or so the Cowboys were playing the Rams on MNF in L.A. The San Francisco Steakhouse did that for sure. Did White own it?That's a good story. I remember living in Dallas in the 90's going to Randy White's Steakhouse off I-35 south of the LBJ. I think that was the place where the lady swung on a swing from the ceiling of the place.
they beat the giants and jets. They are 500 right now. They are getting used to not having Parsons. They may should have traded Dak and kept Parsons. Dak should have attracted so good offers.
This is one of the few times I ever saw Landry visibly upset.I remember back in about 1979 or so the Cowboys were playing the Rams on MNF in L.A. that actually happened much later - 1986 - near the end of his runI remember back in about 1979 or so the Cowboys were playing the Rams on MNF in L.A. Nope, I got the two mixed up. We've been to both. I think they've both since closed. The San Francisco Steakhouse did that for sure. Did White own it?
