The famous primatologist and anthropologist, known for her groundbreaking work with chimpanzees, died on Wednesday at 91. Not long after, Netflix released the first episode from its new Famous Last Words series, which features final interviews with celebrities recorded before their deaths.
In the episode, Jane opens up about a lot — including her thoughts on "dark" events happening in the world. And yes, she also had things to say regarding certain world leaders and public figures she doesn't like."Absolutely, there are people I don't like," she said, "and I would like to put them on one of [Elon] Musk's spaceships and send them all off to the planet he's sure he's going to discover."
When asked if Elon himself would be on the ship, she responded, "Oh absolutely he'd be the host... Along with Musk, it'd be Trump and some of Trump's real supporters."
Jane also named Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
"Put them all on that spaceship and send them off," Jane said. (I agree, the world would be a better place without them too!)
The comments quickly went viral, with many praising Jane's unfiltered honesty.
"Once a Queen, Forever a Queen," one person commented, as someone else called Jane "a true gem."
"She continues to spread goodness, even in death," a third fan said. "RIP Dr. Jane
"And don't let them come back," one more added.
