The Commander in Chief Is Not Okay

Democrats won't settle because what they want includes funding for illegals and undocumented.... Who they will fight For before they will fight for our own citizens , our homeless , and our veterans... If that were not true there would be no shut down ..

Trump is verifiably fat, out of shape, slovenly, and uses more makeup than a circus clown.

For some weird reason, when Fat Lame hears that about his Messiah, it drives him insane and makes him lash out furiously with lies and petty insults!

"He" is a she, but otherwise I agree 100%. I also think that #HisLardship's insults are extremely juvenile too. No wonder the humor-impaired adore him.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s convocation of hundreds of generals and admirals today turned out to be, in the main, a nothingburger. Hegseth strutted and paced and lectured and hectored, warning the officers that he was tired of seeing fat people in the halls of the Pentagon and promising to take the men who have medical or religious exemptions from shaving—read: mostly Black men—and kick them out of the military. He assured them that the “woke” Department of Defense was now a robust and manly Department of War, and that they would no longer have to worry about people “smearing” them as “toxic” leaders. (Hegseth went on a tirade about the word toxic itself, noting that if a commitment to high standards made him “toxic,” then “so be it.”)

All in all, an utterly embarrassing address. But that wasn’t the worst of it. The assembled military leaders likely already knew that Hegseth is unqualified for his job, and they could mostly tune out the sloganeering that Hegseth, a former TV host, was probably aiming more at Fox News and the White House than at the military itself. What they could not ignore, however, was the spectacle that President Donald Trump put on when he spoke after Hegseth.

The president talked at length, and his comments should have confirmed to even the most sympathetic observer that he is, as the kids say, not okay. Several of Hegseth’s people said in advance of the senior-officer conclave that its goal was to energize America’s top military leaders and get them to focus on Hegseth’s vision for a new Department of War. But the generals and admirals should be forgiven if they walked out of the auditorium and wondered: What on earth is wrong with the commander in chief?

Trump seemed quieter and more confused than usual; he is not accustomed to audiences who do not clap and react to obvious applause lines. “I’ve never walked into a room so silent before,” he said at the outset. (Hegseth had the same awkward problem earlier, waiting for laughs and applause that never came.) The president announced his participation only days ago, and he certainly seemed unprepared.

Trump started rambling right out of the gate. But first, the president channeled his inner Jeb Bush, asking the officers to clap—but, you know, only if they felt like it.

"Nothing like a speech from President Donald "Bone Spur" Trump to lift the spirits of America's generals and admirals. The hastily called meeting of top military brass, summoned from posts around the world to the Marine Corps base in Quantico, Virginia, was one of the clearest clashes of culture in a world dominated by such clashes. That fact was lost on the blowhard-in-chief.

The president's speech has rightly been lambasted for, among other things, his suggestion that the military should confront "the enemy within" and that America's cities be used as "training grounds" for the military. Does he have any idea how soldiers are trained?"

Calling people you disagree with, "the enemy within"? I can't believe half the country is ok with this shit!

FACT: Democrats Shut Down Government Over Free Healthcare for Illegals
The White House
October 1, 2025

Democrats and their Fake News allies want you to believe it’s all a lie that Democrats shut down the government over free healthcare for illegal aliens.

Except that’s exactly what happened. As Vice President JD Vance said, “It’s not something that we made up. It’s not a talking point. It is in the text of the bill that they initially gave to us to reopen the government.”

As the White House makes clear in a new memo, Democrats’ unserious proposal takes extraordinary efforts to accommodate illegal aliens while repealing reforms that strengthen healthcare for American citizens.
Here’s what you need to know:

FACT: Democrats’ proposal would result in nearly $200 billion spent on healthcare for illegal immigrants and other non-citizens over the next decade — enough to fund the entire Children’s Health Insurance Program.

FACT: Democrats’ proposal would once again allow those improperly granted asylum and parole under Biden’s open borders scheme to receive Medicaid.
FACT: Democrats’ proposal would require Medicaid to pay more for emergency care provided to illegal aliens than it does for American patients who are disabled, elderly, or children.
FACT: Democrats’ proposal would allow California to continue exploiting a loophole to fund Medicaid for illegal aliens.
FACT: Democrats’ proposal would reinstate a special Obamacare subsidy for non-citizens — for which low-income American citizens are not eligible.
FACT: Democrats’ proposal would repeal a generational $50 billion investment in rural healthcare.
FACT: Democrats’ proposal would take Health Savings Accounts away from ten million American citizens.

They look really really bad...
Who looks really, really bad?

Multiple polls conducted since the start of the current government shutdown indicate that more Americans blame President Trump and congressional Republicans than Democrats, though public opinion is divided. However, the level of blame fluctuates depending on the specific poll and the political affiliations of those surveyed.

Answer? YOU!

The irony is that, after this debacle, "Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-Pa.) on Wednesday confronted House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.)" and said “The president is unhinged. He is unwell". Johnson agreed by saying “A lot of folks on your side are, too.”

Is it an impeachable offense for the Speaker of the House to recognize that the President is unfit for office yet do nothing about it?

Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-Pa.) on Wednesday confronted House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), urging the GOP leader to address comments made by the president during his address to generals in Quantico, Va.

“The president is unhinged. He is unwell,” Dean told Johnson in front of a crowd and cameras.

Johnson fired back by telling her, “A lot of folks on your side are, too.”

Dean then pointed to President Trump’s remarks from the day prior, when he suggested Democratic-led cities be used as “training grounds” for the military.

He and Hegseth also told service members that the days of “politically correct” policies within the armed forces would be brought to an end.

Dean described Trump’s comments as a “performance” in front of generals and admirals, while Johnson said he “didn’t see it.”

However, the Pennsylvania representative warned that diplomatic relations could be impacted by the president’s remarks.

“That is so dangerous,” Dean told Johnson.

“You know I serve on Foreign Affairs and Appropriations. This is a collision of those two things. Our allies are looking elsewhere. Our enemies are laughing,” she added.

Agreed.

Most people are as loudmouthed as Trump's MAGAts, but they are certainly thinking Trump's actions are wrong and bad for the country.
