NFL chooses anti-ICE pro-migrant BAD BUNNY from Puerto Rico to do the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show

So, MAGA doesn't like opinions after all.

I actually knew that it was BS when they said they did.
I'm fine with opinions. What I don't like is someone foisting them on the public at a major event that isn't intended to have political opinions foisted at it.

I'll add this: I think that a halftime show in Spanish will be a major fail as well. The vast majority of viewers of a Super Bowl don't speak Spanish, and even those that do will largely be turned off by it being Puerto Rican Spanish versus other dialects. I suspect this will be a major fail for the NFL.

I expect something like a 50/50 mix.....and MAGA will be lambasted for overreacting.

You can see this play coming from miles away.

You never even heard of him until six days ago, and your sources on right-wing social media don't count as reliable and unbiased information. Opposing Trump policies doesn't make someone anti-American
I don't need any sources, at this point, to know that this performer will be doing his show at halftime in Spanish. That is going to be a major fail on its own. With 80%+ of the audience not understanding the lyrics they will likely tune out or turn off the halftime show simply because they see nothing they connect to in it.

Opposing Trump's policies doesn't make someone anti-American. Opposing Trump's political policies at a national, non-political, sporting event during a show meant to entertain the audience does make someone a major idiot.

Bad Bunny is hyperpolitical in his 'music' and performances. He does all of his singing in Spanish. The combination will be a major disaster.
He will do as BlackRock instructs.

He will sing some in english.....you can bet your house on this....and there will be others singing in English.

Keep in mind too that BB is not the only one on stage, and halftime is relatively short.....all he needs to do to accomplish the mission is to sing in english for a few minutes.

He seems to be talented enough to manage.

Decent singers can easily sing a bit in a foreign language....all they need is practice time and he has plenty.
Not the problem. Singing in Spanish to an English-speaking audience will lose the majority of the audience. They won't connect with the song(s) because they can't understand the lyrics.
