Yawn! Money only matters if it's used to better society or help in some way. Someone propping themselves up with it does not impress me.

Just a few months ago as he left DOGE and he and the President had a very public bromance divorce the democrats were lighting his businesses on fire and he was temporarily not the richest person in the world. We have some threads with leftists full of schadenfreude dancing on what they seemed to think was the end of his success.....

We'll look back & think it's a little weird that we celebrated people achieving cartoonishly extreme wealth while so many live in poverty.

We’re discussing the government shutdowns, not COVID.

Government employees aren’t a drain, they serve a purpose and help this country operate. You’re telling me air traffic controllers, TSA. the people who inspect your food, restaurants and operate border patrol are a drain on taxpayers? You’re a fool.

I remember that Damo. It would be one thing if he went from the world’s richest to actually losing his fortune, then I’d get people mocking him.

But in this case it was Larry Ellison making $100 billion in one day that allowed him to briefly surpass Musk. At the same time, Musk was already in talks for a $1 trillion pay package.

Yet some here took great joy in it, which is a sign they are deep in the partisan fight. Haha.
