He actually did stop it. When he said leave - they left. And they showed people on video telling everyone around them to leave, reading Trump's tweet.

I haven't seen even one MAGA acknowledge how that day went. It is truly cognitive dissonance.

I didn't vote for him for a ton of reasons. He's a friggin' mess, and you know it.

But hell yeah - he could have said something sooner. He waited for hours. What kind of leader is that? He could have saved a life.
