To Hell With Charlie Kirk

I don't have enough faith to be an atheist,

Actually you do. You just can't allow it.

For instance you are not "agnostic" about my claim of a 25' tall giant man who lives in my backyard. You don't believe it exists just because I said he does. And if you disagree with that then you are way out there in crazy town.

Atheism is the lack of faith. Carlin knew how ridiculous religion is.

Atheists lack a lot of things. LOL

I used to irritate the shit out of a pack of Brit atheists on another forum, Secular Cafe. To be fair, I also did it to Bible-thumpers on a Christian forum but ended up being banned by the Holier than Thou. :ROFLMAO:

The fact militant atheists are so emotional about their beliefs is one of the things that fascinate me.

The obsession continues. LOL

False. Science is just methodology.
There are always assumptions underlying methodology.

In science, and many other fields of knowledge, those underlying postulates are assumptions which are presented without proof and are often claimed to be self-evident.

Science definitely doesn't allow for flights of fancy that non-scientists seem to want to shoehorn into science.

All you have to do is provide corroborating witness testimony for your giants, your pink elephants, your polka-dotted leprechauns.

The canonical Gospels and the letters of Paul are widely taken to be witness testimony, or reports from people who knew the witnesses.

You don't have to believe them. But you do have to admit you have no corroborating witness statements for your pink giant, while Jesus does have independent corroborating accounts

I did earlier. Didn't you see the two anonymous sources who confirm that a giant exists?

I don't believe something just because someone wrote it in a book. Otherwise I'd be worried when I stumbled into the fiction area of the bookstore.
