-900 non retail jobs plus closing something like 1% of the American stores, this after -1000+ non retail jobs in the spring. My wife worked for them for about a decade till she was laid off in Spring.

Seattle has lost the roastery.....no news if the rest of them are closing.....not sure if Princi is closing.

Those still with jobs at HQ are said to be miserable.

Current CEO was brought in a year ago to do a turnaround.....has overseen carnage and a 12% decline in the stock.

There have been consistent rumors that Starbucks intends to dump their entire China operations....I have heard that other Asian operations are not going well either.

I'm up at 4 am 7 days a week 365 days a year, literally. FIRST thing I do every morning is go to the Keurig for a cup of " Joe tall dark and handsome" and say........now brew me up WHAT I IS! :ROFLMAO:
I have been seeing on X Starbucks receipts where after tax coffee drinks are pushing $9 even before the tariff tax increases....I think for a lot of folks that is a NO!.

Am I the only person on the board, or the country, that doesn’t drink coffee?
@ThatOwlWoman doesn't like coffee, but she adores tea. Same with my Mom. There are also groups of people who experience stomach upset from coffee and therefore refrain from drinking it. I love a cup of coffee in colder months, but don't drink it much during warmer months.

People do look at me like I'm crazy.
Hmmmmmmmmm,....now I wonder why exactly that is. :ROFLMAO: Been meaning to ask you,...I know you are a big USC guy. GREAT tradition BTW. But.....if you are a big USC guy surely you remember why a player named Jack Cichy is almost infamous to USC fans right? Gotta say,...I never saw anything like it. He ran on the field like a crazed wild man that day!. Unreal!

LOL, you mean his three consecutive sacks?! Unfortunately, I do remember him.

I've taken one sip and hated the taste. Never again. I've never tried tea to be honest. My wife is into unsweet tea, not sure if that's a Southern thing.

He was pissed because He couldn't play the 1st half of our bowl game because of targeting. And it showed! He was like a caged animal on that sideline waiting for the 2nd half. LOL Kid had some real juice to him but got hurt pretty bad the following year and it destroyed his career. Real shame.

Under Howard Starbucks was bloated and he fostered a sense of entitlement with the employees. Also often the basics were poorly done....I am remembering several times where HQ staff that clearly had to go nonetheless would stick around for something like a year before they were finally offloaded.
