The right cancels Kimmel

No NextStar one of the largest group of TV station in the US told ABC they would be preempting Kemmil for the foreseeable future. Disney and ABC decided to pull Kemmil. Not a righty in site.

And you lied about what Kemmil said it was more like

the right wanted the killer to be anyone but one of them.

Not

the right wanted the killer to be anyone but who he is….

Kemmil was suggesting Robinson was from the right. I think we all know that is not true.
Jarod doesn't know it's not true. He still believes all the shit the Democrats tell him to believe.

These 38 Sinclair ABC stations won’t be getting Jimmy Kimmel Live back
Jimmy Kimmel Live will be returning on Tuesday, Sept. 23, but viewers in 38 Sinclair-owned markets won't see the show back on their local ABC affiliate.

Jimmy Kimmel Live will be returning on Tuesday, Sept. 23, but it seems viewers in more than three dozen markets owned by the Sinclair Broadcasting Group will not be able to enjoy Kimmel’s return to ABC.

While ABC has lifted Kimmel’s suspension, Sinclair Broadcasting Group has released a statement confirming it will not be returning the show to its networks upon its return on Sept. 23. This means that the largest owner of ABC affiliate stations will be keeping the show off air and preventing viewers in 38 markets across the US from watching new episodes, including Kimmel’s highly anticipated first show back.

Indeed…Kimmel is blocked from 40% of the viewing audience.

He had very few viewers before, now he will have even fewer.

He is so irrelevant that there is not even one article about him on the Google News Page which leans far left.
He’s still alive. The subject of his personnel matter is not.

More bullshit. Late night talking heads ALL want to take as much share as possible.

Fuck you, get off your keyboard and do your own research. Those ratings have been posted over and over.

Well, were are only three, (now two) screeching lefties, so the fact he lands in slot #2 means he is doing great?
:rofl2: :rofl2:
Sure they want as much share as possible, and Kimmel is doing that better than most of his direct competition. Everyone on broadcast TV is losing their audience, many much more than Kimmel.

I've never watched late night TV. Just not my thing. But I looked this up, so if you're a connoisseur of it I'd appreciate your feedback.

My understanding is people like Carson and Leno was more about broad jokes and funny one liners. They made fun of whoever was in office but it was more about the humor than any partisanship.

Jon Stewart wasn't late night comedy but he changed things and influenced those who followed him.

That led into Kimmel, Colbert, Meyers et al. who spend much more time on politics and are more openly liberal in that regard.

So politics wasn't absent in the past, it just wasn't as partisan or central to the shows.
I think this is true, I used to watch Carson and Letterman, back in the 80s. Since then if I was up that late, I was out at the bars or chasing women. In the last 20 years, I’ve never been up that late but a few times and I wasn’t watching TV, I was changing diapers and giving bottles.

Kimmel jokes about a lot of things, but I don’t think it’s only politics, like John Stewart was they still follow the Old segment of a 10 or 15 minute monologue and then guests. I understand he used to make fun of Biden often.

These shows are geared towards the demographic they are targeting, and I think their experts believe they get more audience by making fun of Trump. I do not believe this is about a political agenda, it’s about targeting a specific audience and making the most money they can.

Not possible. We the People, despite electing Donald Trump to the Presidency three consecutive times, were unable to affect any of the 100% ant-Trump media blaring 24/7.

I just checked, you are mistaken about the right canceling Kimmel. It was ABC who cancelled Kimmel. That actually makes sense.
Under pressure from the FCC and Trump himself. If you can't see that, and Ted Cruz can, you are an idiot.

I refer back to my previous post explaining how that is totally impossible ... and how it was ABC who cancelled Kimmel.

@Jarod, are you aware that ABC has no control over the FCC, but can cancel Kimmel at the drop of a hat? Crazy.

If you can't see that, and Ted Cruz can, you are an idiot.

Why do you believe Trump and the FCC threatened ABC?

[The right] literally canceled him for that!
I thought it was ABC who suspended Kimmel. How did a segment of a political spectrum do an end run around the network?
Using threats

You are the one who made that claim, not I.
