Sinclair is, apparently, not interested in continuing to lose money to hear the tragically unfunny Kimmel ranting about Pres. Trump.

Sinclair has the largest number of affiliate stations....more revenue loss for ABC over the waning Kimmel...

Sinclair ABC stations won’t air ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ despite return to network

Sinclair Broadcast Group revealed that it won’t air “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on its ABC affiliate stations –despite Disney’s decision to bring back the late-night talk show beginning Tuesday.

“Beginning Tuesday night, Sinclair will be preempting ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘ across our ABC affiliate stations and replacing it with news programming,” Sinclair, which has the nation’s largest number of the network’s affiliate stations, posted on X on Monday.

Sinclair had previously called on the talk show host to issue a “direct apology” to the Kirk family and make a donation to Turning Point USA, the conservative nonprofit co-founded by Kirk.

“Mr. Kimmel’s remarks were inappropriate and deeply insensitive at a critical moment for our country,” Vice Chairman Jason Smith said in a statement after Kimmel’s axing last week.

I mean I dont know.....I have no idea what the last thing I watched on ABC was....that is how irrelevant they are.

Sinclair Broadcast Group reaches approximately 40% of American households through its ownership or operation of 193 television stations across the United States.

  • Significant Reach:
With 193 stations in over 100 markets, Sinclair is one of the largest television broadcasting companies in the U.S.

  • Household Penetration:
Their stations are in a position to reach about two out of every five households nationwide.

  • Major Network Affiliations:
Sinclair operates stations affiliated with major broadcast networks, further expanding their audience.

Right-wing censorship is alive and well. The Trumpys are pleased with that. The wealthy will define our rights, not the Constitution. Trumpys will be pleased.

They are mostly located in the Northeast. I wonder if this is a wise decision?

Kimmel censored himself with his abysmal ratings.

He was a great success at losing money.

There was no censorship…his lack of humor shut him down.

Being in business to make a profit is what's alive and well, and impossible with Kimmel's leftist rantfest.

Dumping Kimmel is smart business, not censorship; the world is sick of leftist bullshit.

One hundred percent.

Kimmel lied about the shooter being on the right.

The shooter shot a man who helped elect President Trump. He turned the youth vote to President Trump.

Sinclair Broadcast Group is a "for profit" company and has a fiduciary responsibility to its stockholders.

They made a financial decision...a wise one.

It didn't air here, but I saw that he apologized....
Hopefully, he changes his tune...;)
It wasn't a real apology. He is incapable of recognizing what he did.

Morning, TOP.

It appears that Cleveland is tied with Detroit. The Braves tried to help the Guardians by sweeping the Tigers.

The Braves have won the last ten games in a row. Too little too late though.

Next year?

No; Sinclair stations are nationwide:

Sinclair seeks profitability in Kimmel's former timeslot, which is, obviously, not possible with Kimmel...and now, Nexstar is also refusing to air te money pit Kimmel show.

It was something he had to do to get back...he had me until his final remarks...
And yes...thank you Braves...
Never a dull moment in baseball...I could hardly watch last night...I get too nervous...I cooked...lol

I hear you.

When the Braves won their last World Series in 2021, the last play of the game was a ground ball to short. I saw Dansby Swanson look to second for a force play and I almost panicked…he’s going to throw to second and not get the force play but he threw to first base, game over, Braves win their second World Series.

What’s your bet on how long Sinclair will hold out? My guess, it depends on how much Kompromat Trump has on their leadership.
