In the opening facts of the CIA worldbook about Somalia, you learn that the nation has 16M people, minus those who immigrated as "Refugees", to the United States.
The CIA lists that in 2024, there were 42K Refugees who have left Somalia. The population is almost 100% Sunni Muslim:
Muslim 99.9% (Sunni Muslim 98.1%, Shia Muslim 1.2%, Islamic schismatic 0.6%), ethnic religionist 0.1% (2020 est.)
Though the U.N. HCR places the number of refugees over the last 30 years at 150K:

Men slightly out number women, which world wide, is unusual. This is primarily due to low tech medical practice, combined with high fertility rate, which results in high death rates in child birth.
