There’s an absolute sea of people waiting outside State Farm Arena in Arizona for Charlie Kirk’s memorial

Charlie Kirk was a big thing on AM talk radio. He had a nationwide show on the Salem network. In Phoenix, it was played on AM 960. I listened to a bit of his shows now and then and for the most part he wasn't some raving lunatic radical. Rather, he took relatively common-sense positions on things most of the time. Yes, he could be extreme on some positions, but that didn't exemplify his overall tenor.
I’ve never listened to Kirk on the radio or his podcast. I have seen some of his clips on social media. Looking it up, he started an AM radio show in 2020, but he was already well established at that point. People knew him from Turning Point USA, which was active on thousands of campuses across the country. Kids don’t listen to AM radio. Many probably don’t even know what it is. They know him through podcasts and social media. The AM show may have expanded his reach, but that’s not what made him.

I’m not saying this as a pejorative, but this board is dominated by retired Boomers. Retired Boomers weren’t Kirk’s target audience. Like him or not, he was hugely influential with young conservatives. Those saying otherwise don’t have a clear picture of his actual audience.

He preferred the word "sympathy" over "empathy"... Of course context never matters to the radicalized. They'd lie if the truth would do, then tell you it's a "misstatement".

So let's just, little, very short clip. Bill Clinton in the 1990s. It was all about empathy and sympathy. I can't stand the word empathy, actually. I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that — it does a lot of damage. But, it is very effective when it comes to politics. Sympathy, I prefer more than empathy. That's a separate topic for a different time.

He thought it was made up, and new age how ridiculous.

“Sympathy is feeling pity or sorrow for someone else's misfortune, maintaining an emotional distance, while empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another by putting yourself in their position, experiencing emotions with them

Empathy creates a deeper emotional connection, whereas sympathy can sometimes create a sense of separation or even be tinged with judgment, making empathy the more supportive response in many difficult situations.“

As the Director of the FBI, I am committed to ensuring the investigation into Charlie Kirk’s assassination is thorough and exhaustive, pursuing every lead to its conclusion.

The full weight of America’s law enforcement agencies are actively following the evidence that has emerged, but our efforts extend beyond initial findings. We are examining every facet of this assassination.

We are meticulously investigating theories and questions, including the location from where the shot was taken, the possibility of accomplices, the text message confession and related conversations, Discord chats, the angle of the shot and bullet impact, how the weapon was transported, hand gestures observed as potential “signals” near Charlie at the time of his assassination, and visitors to the alleged shooter’s residence in the hours and days leading up to September 10, 2025.

Some details are known today, while others are still being pursued to ensure every possibility is considered. Our primary focus is to complete this investigation and deliver justice. To protect the integrity of the investigation and subsequent prosecution, we cannot release every piece of information we have to the public right now. We will ensure every question is addressed at the appropriate moment.

Regarding specific details, such as questions about the plane that allegedly turned off its transponder after departing from an airport near the assassination site, we can share updates when answers are confirmed. After interviews with the pilot and consultation with the FAA, we determined the transponder was not turned off. Incomplete flight data in rural areas caused the apparent gap.

The entire FBI mourns the loss of Charlie Kirk. We will not rest until justice is served, and our investigation into this assassination will continue until every question is answered.

Guaranteed there was a conspiracy and ongoing ones.
7 trannies in a row committing heinous crimes? They're being conditioned to do so.

Some small explanation from him as to why he felt sympathy was superior to empathy:
