The newest update to the consumer price index (CPI), which measures a basket of goods and services, showed that prices increased 2.9% over the last year – the highest since January. Core CPI, which excludes energy and food costs, stayed stable at 3.1% after going up in July.

If you drive at 50 miles per hour for 4 hours, you travel 200 miles per hour? No, you travel 50 miles per hour for 200 miles.

It says a lot about your belief in trump's inflation that you have to compare one year of trump to four years of Biden. Biden had a major eruption of inflation, that he did get mostly under control, but was bad. And you do not think an apples to apples comparison with trump will look good for trump?

Let's compare Biden's first year in office to Trump's then. Biden managed somewhere between 3 and 5 times more inflation in his first year.
