Reality check: it was a protest where some wanted Pence to use his constitutional powers, and it spiraled when a few cops got scraped up and relatively minor damage was done. One day, done. No repeat riots, no sequel. Compare that to your side's 2020 rampage: 20 people murdered, countless maimed, cities torched, government buildings seized, rampant looting, and zero consequences. Chaos did not stop, and you delusional scumbags still pretend it is a myth.

I think Jan 6th was a set up from the jump.
I believe they knew thousands would protest. They had plenty of examples of the right showing up in huge numbers, but the problem was, they almost never got violent, just a few fists flying once in a while.
To fix this, they used intelligence agencies and many from the paid protesting networks funded by scum like Soros to slip in their own people to agitate the crowd, chanting slogans and lies to rile up those already furious about the rigged election. (Pathetic guillotine set up by a group with all the same MAGA shit on brand new of course, would be an example) I wouldn’t be surprised if an undercover agent planted the pipe bomb too.
Nancy denied requests for more police and rejected Trump’s offer for the NG, as you noted, and then at least 26 agents and a number of Antifa like groups likely coordinated with our intelligence agents started their work.
Even after all that, it wasn’t nearly as bad as they’d hoped, but it was all they had and the reactions by the party leaders were ready to go. Despite the lack of the massive outrage they wanted, they kept pushing the rhetoric and endless investigations, anything to keep the weak story alive. Time after time, polls showed Americans didn’t buy the insurrection label and didn’t care, so they doubled down and repeated the mantra for years eventually getting some to relent and pretend to care.

He was saying what i was saying, immediately after Kirks death and before any facts were known.
I was calling out the magats here for not caring about Kirk, or his death and ONLY caring to weaponize this via politics and that message they were desperately sending was that the killer was not a magat or from the right.
The magats had no other care at that point other to say 'the killer was not one of us'.
And that is what Kimmel accurately pointed out as well.
