It is getting truly nauseating the way MAGA is treating this incident as if some important world leader was assassinated...

The fact that people on your side have to resort to twisting the words of those you disagree with in your attempts to make your point, indicates that you don't have a point
PRECISELY what the left did to Trump on Jan 6.

He asked for a peaceful protest letting voices be heard. Then you tell me with a straight face he incited violence. Yes, it is the right twisting words. Whatever fuckhead.

I'll be 100% honest with you, I had literally never heard of him before this happened.

I don't think he'd ever been mentioned here on this board.

At least not that I know of.
Most of the folks here are not his audience. He was the original person in the "Prove me wrong" meme. From one table and a "prove me wrong" sign he created a multi-million dollar company that employed hundreds.

I believe you never heard of him before this happened, but there are quite a few of us that had. South Park spoofed him on their show (he loved it), he was part of "current" and had a voice much larger than this silly little site has...

Isn't Crowder the "prove me wrong" guy?

....as opposed to some obnoxious, trump groveling bigot who got rich pedaling hate and xenophobia.

I'd never celebrate a person's death, especially as the result of murder, but this guy was nothing but a self-serving hot air bag.

Just another gun death in trump's 'Murica.

They happen countless times per day because of the right's devotion to guns.

Shut the fuck up about him already.

🖕🏼
Agreed. Worse when it's compared to the mass murders of Democrats just a few weeks ago.

This is why all MAGA morons are dishonorable, disgusting and disreputable people. Disowning them for Thanksgiving and Christmas is not only the right thing to do, but saves money to balance the higher costs of MAGA tariffs. Winner, winner. W00t!

I see a lot of accusations but not much proof.
Charlie could be controversial but he spoke honestly and from the heart.... And he would sit down and have a conversation with anyone about anything and everything.... liberals hate that... They're allergic to genuine sincere Discussion... He was every person they fear...

Yeah. Very similar concept and often equally annoying to some folks.

I knew Kirk was doing the campus things, but I never really paid attention. Since the shooting, I've watched clips online. Granted, I only watched a small portion, but I was impressed. Based on media & other characterizations, I thought they'd be more confrontational and even hostile, but he really listened and tried to persuade using the whole Socratic method & making his case without being dismissive.

I completely disagree w/ some of his positions, but man, do we need more of that. I appreciate what he was trying to do. Get real dialogue going.

I agree with this assessment. Even to the point that some of his positions do not align with mine but I got where he was going with the "we need to have dialogue if we are ever going have some understanding rather than create a larger divide"...

I suspect that Kirk's death will energize his proponents and followers just as MLK's death did something like 60 years ago. Kirk had started a very powerful Conservative movement in Turning Point USA, whether you like it or not. The Leftists here can try and deny that all they want but it doesn't change the facts. He was far more a thing here in Arizona where he started his political activism and was a daily feature on AM talk radio.

This didn't happen because of "...the right's devotion to guns." It happened because someone who was increasing moving Left politically in their thinking saw it as a justifiable thing to do. Kirk's assassin could have just as easily made his way to the stage to engage Kirk in a face-to-face debate then killed him with a knife or blade, maybe hacked his head off with a machete.

But killing that way takes far more courage and resolve than shooting someone at 200 yards. Robinson was, at heart, a coward.

That's the "change my mind" guy isn't it? I know Kirk's latest tour was the "Prove Me Wrong Tour"...

I'm not 20 so I should just ask my daughter. LOL
Crowder started it in 2018 and Kirk started prove me wrong in 2012.

When someone got mad and started to use profanity on him he never came back at them in anger. He knew to actually reach young people you needed to talk to them not scream at them. He would have made a great father. To bad he never got his full opportunity to raise his kids. THAT is what I find the most offensive about his murder.

I'm amazed by how many people counted him as a friend. Lots of very touching stories.

The Magatards have been the pro gun advocate who have been the one who feel that they can settle differences at the end of a muzzle.

Derpy - if you Stalinists had outlawed AR-15's, magazines with over 10 round capacity, and 180 day waiting periods like you want - how would that have stopped the democrat ANTIFA Brown Shirt from illegally acquiring a Mauser .30-06 bolt action with a 3 round capacity illegally?

See, you who are on team evil are full of shit.

So they killed him. That's what the left does when they fear someone.

It already has. The left is in sheer panic over the reaction that has occurred.

This was exactly the wrong move at exactly the wrong time by the left.

Similar to when the democrats killed MLK - the assassination has lite a fuze that they can't put out.

There are a tremendous amount of stories... People loved him... because he loved them.... And he did this with faith not politics... He did not die in vain....People will make sure of that....

That's how I'm seeing it. I was no fan of Charlie Kirk particularly, and about all I'd heard from him was some bits of his radio show on AM 960 here in Phoenix, but it's clear he was a political powerhouse with a movement behind him in Turning Point USA. Like with MLK, he has been turned into a martyr of his cause.
