I really think it’s a fatal flaw in humanity that most people see history as starting and ending within their own lifetime. Less than a century ago, the debate was settled, socialism in any form is a recipe for the total destruction of our liberty, ensuring millions suffer long and hard, starved, and worked to death, and/or simply shot in the head to suppress dissent or meet quotas.
