House Speaker Mike Johnson said Monday that he didn’t mean to suggest in a recent interview that Trump had or had not been an FBI informant in the case against disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

“I don’t know if I used the right word,” Johnson told reporters at the Capitol. “I said FBI informant. I’m not sure — I wasn’t there. This isn’t my lane. I’m just repeating what is common knowledge and has been out in the public for a long time: President Trump was never a hindrance to the Epstein investigation. He was trying to assist in that.”

Surely the Wall Street Mafia came and had another chat with Johnson....who has an annoying habit of not following instructions requiring reprimands.
 
Johnson is a lost soul in the house. He has no power. He ceded it all to daffy Donald, who sends orders for him to follow. He wants the prestige and historical footnotes that being the speaker provides. It was once a powerful position. Now Miller relays orders for him . He follows them all.

The Republicans are desperately trying to come up with an explanation for the facts of trump's involvement in child trafficking.
