Gun bans, especially in limited areas, surrounded by unlimited areas, will never prevent all such mass murders.

Certantly not what I said, but I do not know of any solution that would end the shootings completly. WE must start with reducing them since there is not a plan to end them entirely.

If you have a plan that would 100% end school shootings or mass shootings, I am all ears. Is it your belief we should not take any action until such a plan comes around?

There is no possible plan to end shootings. You can reduce and minimize them by hardening the schools. this has been said many times.

SO does that mean you don't want to end them all, you are proposing a solution that would not be 100% effective, are you saying you are willing to accept these murders of children? School shootings are okay as long as we reduce the numbers.

If some kids gotta die, then some kids gotta die.

you cannot end them all. that is an impossible objective. what i'm saying is you utilize all means to protect them by hardening the schools and adding armed guards.

I believe schools are being hardened all around the nation, I am involved in a school where we just spent a huge amount to replace all the doors and windows so they are as bullet resistant as is commercially available. It wsa a crazy amount of the budget. Id have much rather hired 6 more teachers and make the classes smaller.

This comes with a cost, I used to be able to walk into my kids school, sign a paper, and go to their classroom, sit in, or pick the kid up, or wait till the class was over and have a chat with the teacher. Now, no way. You can schedule an appointment after school hours to go in and meet with the teacher. You can not sit in on a class, and you can not walk down the halls to pick up your kid. I used to know much more about my kids and how their school worked than parents can possibly know now. Back in the day, I could walk home for lunch, now the kids are locked in.

everything you just said shows that you do not understand 'hardening a school'. a very simple answer to this is if YOU are in a situation that involves a person shooting people, what do you do?

I am not a kid, I am a grown adult, what I would do is very situationally dependent.

In the situation you are imagining, if I had my gun on me, and could do so without more likely killing others, Id shoot him (and hope to hell he was not one of the good guys), if not, I like to think Id try to tackle the shooter and separate him from his weapons.

I have not seen that, I see that they report them, and over do it if you watch too much of it. It sells, that's how capitalism works.

The number of mass school shootings has hugely increased since Columbine. It is a major issue that should be addresses. Most street crime is bad actors doing bad things to bad people. Usually surrounding the drug trade. I do not like that, and would love to put an end to it.

You are insane if you cant see the difference where incredibly innocent Kindergarten children are brutally torn apart by a rifle.
