Big jobs report due tomorrow

So, we going to see a “tremendous,” “best in history” job report tomorrow?

Even though indicators point toward a weak report, is Antoni going to do what Trump wants regardless of the facts?

Even though I am there often, I don’t live in NYC, and it’s the Big Apple, LaGuardia, one of his most famous Mayors, was a Democrat Socialist, it moves on on its own

Zohran won’t upset the apple cart, unlike Murdoch’s portrayal, he’s not Lenin, coming in with radical change that is going chase money interests out of the City
Claiming it is only Murdoch who has concerns ignores why many people, including plenty in NYC who are not Republicans, are uneasy.

The mayor is not an all powerful dictator but the office clearly has influence over the city’s direction. We have seen that in New York over the years, and you can see it now in San Francisco with Daniel Lurie and the positive changes under his leadership.

No, large numbers of corporate headquarters aren't going to up and leave the City overnight if he's elected. Pretty hard to see how his proposed policies would have little impact on housing, investment or the business climate. And that does hurt the City's competitiveness.

Both are in the ACC, and SMU didn’t last long in the playoffs, hard to deny that other than Notre Dame, no private school has, nor will, progress in the playoffs, including USC, if I am not mistaken, USC is projected to finish mid pack at best

NIL could level off some off the talent, second stringers aren’t going sit on big programs bench when the transfer rules allow easy movement, but unless private equity gets involved, the State schools will prevail, the one supper conference is coming

And, as I predicted, it is no longer college football, not even semi pro, straight professionalism now, only connection to education is name only
I'm not arguing that four private schools are going to dominate college football and finish 1 - 4 in the standings every year. I'm addressing your claim that private schools can't compete based on economics and that's not the case.

USC has the number one recruiting class in 2026 because of the money we are spending (it's not because we've been winning). SMU was crap for 30 years. Their donors paid hundreds of millions to join the ACC and are now comptitively going after top talent. They are on the upswing. That they lost in the 1st round last year doesn't change that.

Notre Dame made the national title game and Miami is paying big bucks. Point being they are all competing.

And yes, players are getting paid. The old school conservative screw the kids model is gone. This is a more progressive and equitable model (so the argument goes).

I recall hearing you say before basically if you can’t cut it in NYC then leave the city. I’ve heard a couple of friends say the same thing about San Francisco. It basically ignores the supply issue of housing and says that doesn’t matter.

But one of Zorans‘s biggest selling points is his claim that he’s going to freeze rent and make the city more affordable. So all these people who are having trouble hacking it are going to put him in office and the irony is he’s not going to be able to freeze rent but his attempt to, along with other housing policies, will actually increase rental cost.

I read the voters breakdown of who voted for Zohran compared to Cuomo and Zohtan’s biggest voting block were younger college educated whites and Asians. They’re likely to get a real history lesson on how markets work.

Homeless increasing. Open sewers because people just shit and urinate on the street. Drugs destroying what's left of them. Crime increasing everywhere. Organized crime rising unchecked. City police demoralized and quitting. Businesses fleeing those cities.

Great job mayors!

LIF. That won't work, Finger.
FUCK YOU ASSHOLE.

Looks like somebody may be looking for a new job this afternoon.
According to the morning MSN ( news ) US job growth came in at 22,000 last month, down from July's 79,000 figure, said the Department of Labor.
That would be over a 50,000 figure DROP.
IF that is true Trump is going to be going ape shit.
It could be an interesting day.
