So I see all the attacks over the Oil Spill.

What would you have had President Obama do?

Would you have had him nationalize BP?

Would you have had him take the operation away from BP and then go forward with inferror equipment?

Dont you think this is something that should be left to the private corporations to clean up? Is it not outside the powers of the Federal Government?

The constitution says nothing about the Federal Governement having the power to clean oil spills in the gulf!
 
1. Stop blaming Bush for Oil spills and hang nails and anything else that doesn't go his way.
2. Skull drag BP when it's widely understood they cut the corners and the middle out of saftey practices. Over 1,000 let me say that again. Over 1,000 deep wells have been drilled without this kind of incident which points strongly along with the supporting evidence of gross negligence.
3. Hire 1,000 experts

1. Where has President Obama blamed Bush for this oil spill? And if he did, how does that affect the progress of this one, blame should be placed where it is due.

Obama's in the way by not issuing permits.

Its simple technology to use booms and skimmers to collect oil floating on the surface, the run the mixture through on-board oil/ water separators and then dump the water that is 99% clean. But the fed bureaucrats insist that the treated water be 99.999% clean, unobtainable with the huge quantity of water to be treated. Therefore all the oil is to be left in the water.

Only Obama can be blamed for shit this stupid.

Having worked in the environmental engineering field for years I can tell you quite honestly that the way a regulator says "fuck you" is by saying "apply for a permit" when he knows full well that you can't provide the expensive equipment necessary to abide with the letter of every detailed nuance of his own regulations so he's going to let you spend months of time putting together documents for him to ultimately reject.

Bureaucrats don't have the power to ignore the technical rules that they themselves have written. Only their bosses, elected officials, can do that. In this case, that means Obama. And he doesn't have the brains or the balls to do the right thing.
