I'm saying that, within the realm of all online forums, it definitely wouldn't be the first time that I have ever noticed such a thing occur.
DebatePolitics is a PRIME example of a forum's moderators who (purposely, in that case) don't understand their own rules. PoliticalForum is another one in which the moderators not only don't understand their own rules, but they also purposely word some of their rules in a very vague manner so that no one else can actually understand them either. Ultimately, it's their forums, so it's their rules as they interpret them (whether I like/agree/approve of their decisions or not).
As far as Damocles (and JPP) goes, his rules are generally pretty clear and (whenever they are enforced) he generally enforces them pretty well (and is even willing to explain his reasoning and where "the line" is drawn), not that he needs or gives a shit about my general approval. It's his forum, so it's ultimately his rules as he interprets them (whether I like/agree/approve of his decisions or not).

Again, the poster asked for files that contain information that implicate people. She never asked for child porn to be released. That's an accusation along with calling her sick-o which is a clear 12b violation. Reread rule 12b for clarification.
