Globalization is a dangerous idiotic form of zealotry.

It's adherents continue to tout it's alleged virtues, despite any and all evidence to the contrary.

Think of how much we could save in shipping costs if we produce locally.

Overspecializing countries makes them dependant on the central planners. It is this dependancy the central planners seek to increase. The actual best plan is a decentralized net of autonomous agents (individuals), thinking for themselves, but central planners must make themselves relevant by attacking individuality, hence, they push any and all forms of collectivism.

That should be up to the markets to decide, not some random paranoid bureaucrat. If it's honestly so much cheaper to produce locally, clearly local producers should have a market advantage. The fact that they don't should tell you something.

If you want to buy produce locally, YOU pay the higher prices for an inefficient distribution system. Don't burden me with them as well.

But as it is now, globalists provide INCENTIVES and actually defray the irrational costs of international shipping by allowing private industry to externalize the cost of global domination which should be included in all products. How's that for bureaucratic intervention.

Local production has no peer in terms of disribution.

The superior military necessary for Browbeating less powerful nations into the wage slave labor IMF system is a cost that should be born by private companies which profit from that labor. Instead those military costs get put on the american taxpayer, who also loses his job in the deal. Fuck all this.
