I remember Congressman Martin Frost's (D) District. It covered South Dallas and ran all the way to Waco Texas 95 miles running down I-35 switching sides of the highway to hit more Democrat areas all the way.. The Democrat gerrymandering in NY was so bad a judge eventually drew the map. So it has always happened with both parties.
