The stone age did not end because we ran out of stones. The hope would be that we would leave a major amount of the oil underground. The more carbon we release from the ground, the more we will return to an ancient, hotter climate, which would be bad for us.

Then the primary solution to that problem is to go nuclear. Return to fission then move to fusion. Solar and wind are stupid, expensive, and worthless.
Think of it this way:
In
1925 Oil was the big energy source up and coming
1825 Coal was the big energy source up and coming
1725 We cut down forests and burned the wood for energy
In 2025 we should be using nuclear and headed to fusion, but the greentards on the radical Left are fighting tooth and nail to send us back to the stone age...
Really.....look at how wrong the experts were about how much oil is available for us to pump....orders of magnitude more has been found than we were told all of my life was there.
Back to the drawing board in figuring out what is going on.

We might have to depend on Nuclear energy OR and I hope they can get the NDB perfected soon. The NDB they say is a battery made out of nuclear waste , does not need charging, will last over 1000 years, and if it can be perfected will be able to power not only cars but homes and most anything electric.
They have small ones now but need to work on larger ones that will power cars and houses.
IMO this is one industry the US government should be putting money in to help the research.

Well all I am doing is pointing out the fact IF they can get the DNB perfected and in mass production where it is affordable it could be the answer to our power problem and the limited amount of oil left for us to use.
We already have enough nuclear waste to use that could build millions of NDBs.
IMO NDBs could be the answer to our power problems for years and years.
If only the people in charge wanted the best for us.
