They were at a safe distance, but the new ICE agents do not like being recorded. They handled it by firing tear gas randomly into the parking lot.

Firing tear gas at people who are not a threat, and are not committing a crime is aggravated assault. If one of them had asthma or something, and had died, it would be manslaughter.
