It's the first step to charges. Do you really think that a federal prosecutor would issue a subpoena against a sitting governor if they had no proof of a crime? Well, the Democrats might do that...

Ah, Trump’s DOJ, ah yeah, and does this mean that Briggs, Jordan, Perry, Brooks, Meadows, McEnany, and Flynn were all guilty because they all were subpoenaed?

Notice how a subpoena is proof of guilt on Democrats but Republicans with 34 felony convictions are given a pass.
