The financial experts are assuming Trump is just being a jerk who will not do the tariffs. The market thinks he is lying. I missed his 90 tariffs in 90 days.

So we have a market that keeps having slight dips, followed by a rise as they buy on the dip. The slight dips are caused by the non-taco investors selling on trump's insanity. The rises are caused by taco investors buying on the dip.
There is another saying catching the zeitgeist of the market, and that is "nothing ever happens." Obviously, they will admit that things happen, but they argue that it never really effects the market, and that whatever happens is exaggerated by the press. So any bad market news, even news not involving trump, can be ignored. This is sort of a meta taco idea that extends it beyond just trump.
What I am thinking about lately is Keynes' "Markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent." We all know that the economy will effect the market, sooner or later... But if it is too late, it really does not matter to an individual investor.
The term taco was created by trump supporting retail investors. It is what is holding up the market right now.

Right now tariffs are higher than they were entering the Great Depression. It is assumed that later he will make a deal, or pause them, but he has not yet.
So 99+% less than the alt right claims.
They keep lying about what AOC does, says, and supports. Why can't they debate the real AOC?

The entire infatuation the Alt-Right has for the youngest woman elected to Congress is an interestin phenomenon to me. In some ways I can see it's typical MAGA: racist, misogynistic and biased against Millenniels.
In other ways I think it's just bitter old geezers spreading their hate and jealousy on a young woman. Sad.
A movement of bitter men who have not had the success they think they deserved. It is all pathetic.
