Texas river flood leaves at least 13 dead and 20 children missing; camp evacuated by helicopter

Oh I'm sorry, are you not interested in actually discussing the topic of the thread? I know you both love me hard but you could be less obvious about it.
Those concerns have already been debunked. The NWS had two and a half times their normal staffing and they did their job flawlessly and timely. The weak link was the people that did not heed the multiple timely warnings and move to higher ground. Sadly the Camp director failed his responsibility to keep the kids safe by evacuating them. In Texas we get flash flood warnings frequently and people sometimes get immune to hearing them. Several years ago a creek about 2 miles from my house flooded and washed a family of 4 off the road. They all drowned they did not find the mother for 3 years because she was 15 miles down stream. There were flash flood warnings but they drove into running water over the road anyway.
