Tariffs are ALREADY in place, Flipthebird... It's simply a matter of negotiating the exact tariff rates for each nation. All nations are currently paying a 10% baseline tariff (which seems to be a non-negotiable starting point for all nations), then there's other tariffs in place too (such as steel/aluminum tariffs). The USA will now be bringing in HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of dollars in tariffs each year (maybe even TRILLIONS). That's money that We The People no longer need to be taxed for via income taxes. Income taxes could be severely reduced, if not completely done away with, given that kind of tariff revenue.

There are SOME tariffs in place that is true.
So if they are all already in place why is Trump saying he will be putting more in place on July 9th.
And again Tariffs as high as the ones Trump is putting on most of them will be passed on to the consumer and it will be the American consumer that will be paying them.
So the US will not be " BRINGING IN " Billions but will be paying billions more out of THEIR pockets.

False. Companies are going to take a small hit on their profit margin instead in order to keep prices the same.

And in this case, a whole political party. The Democratic Party--AS A WHOLE--is polling in the teens at the moment. NOBODY outside the radical Left wants what the Democratic Party is selling.

Comparing apples to apples, Trump is the only president I am aware of polling this low this early in his term.
