This PREAMBLE was (smugly) written by Jamie Raskin (D) and is worded as follows:
"We the billionaires and our king, in order to deform and sicken our union, establish injustice, ensure domestic servility, weaken our people's defenses, undermine the general welfare, and reserve to ourselves and our posterity staggering debt servitude for eternity, do hereby instruct the Republicans in Congress to strip 17 million people of their health care, increase co-pays, deductibles and premiums for everyone else, cut 42 million people off nutritional assistance, increase the national debt by $4 trillion, trash renewable energy systems, increase our electric bills for the carbon kings, all to weaken and destroy the Constitution of the people of these United States of America."

Ummmm, if there actually WAS a king, then wouldn't there be no "legislative record" (or even a legislature itself) to begin with? How does he suppose that he's getting a stage to voice his grievances (and to vote against the BBB) if this country is being run by a king?

For being a king, President Trump sure seems to face a lot of roadblocks in enacting his agenda and even performing the most basic of his executive duties. (black-robed activists declaring nationwide injunctions, "Republicans" in the legislature rarely voting in a perfect bloc like Democrats regularly do, leftist lawfare, etc etc...

Seems to me like anything less than D's having full access to completely unfettered POWER means that "Trump is being a king", or something.........

Since when does a king have to negotiate with a legislative branch of government in order to get his agenda passed into law?
