You're right. These are the same Debbie Downers, who, at this time last year, were all gloom and doom and everyone's' starving and can't afford Taylor Swift tickets* and boohoohoo Biden so bad. Well all I can say is time will tell.
And when they get what they wanted and it comes back and hurts either them personally or somebody close to them that is when they will start to cry and it will be too late to go back.

Tariffs can be good IF they are REASONABLE , Trump's tariffs of 40. 50 150% or more are NOT reasonable and being that high exporting countries are going to pass most of them on to the US consumer driving up the cost of most everything we buy causing harm to the US consumer.
