The feds are not just being besieged by migrants pouring in from Mexico, they’re dealing with a startling influx of illegal fatties!


The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency has put out a bid for 42,000 pairs of white 100-percent-cotton men’s briefs — and are in desperate need of super-sizes like 4,800 size “2X-Large,” 4,800 “3X-Large” and “4X-Large,” and 3,600 “5X-Large.”


The nation’s elastic border is stretching even further. The ICE officials say they also need 2,400 pairs of “6X-Large” underwear — a garment that retailers say can fit someone weighing as much as 500 pounds.


The contract solicitation, requiring delivery within 30 days, was posted June 5.

For households earning between $30,000 and $80,000, the bill delivers a 15% tax reduction, saving families up to $1,300 annually. It also makes permanent the doubled standard deduction, currently claimed by 91% of taxpayers, and adds a temporary $2,000 increase for married couples through 2028. Seniors over 65 gain an additional $4,000 deduction, easing financial burdens for retirees. The Child Tax Credit (CTC) rises to $2,500 until 2028, with inflation adjustments starting in 2026, benefiting over 40 million families."

The poorest people in this country DON'T PAY TAXES AT ALL, and if they do, they get it back every April in the form of a refund. Which is probably one of the stupidest moves they could make.

I remember in 2017, a bunch of you jackasses were bitching here about your refunds being lower when the TCJA was passed. IT WAS BECAUSE YOU WERE PAYING LOWER TAXES!!

Esp. so since Reichwingers in general get enraged if we compare our middle class citizens to those in, say, European countries. Where they pay more in taxes but they have free or low-cost national health care, far more vacation time, maternity/paternity paid leave, affordable day care, free or low-cost higher education, etc.

MAGAS are going to keep cheering this BBB until it is put into effect and it starts hurting them or somebody close to them then it will be too late to go back.
As it is there are some MAGAS already crying about some of the things Trump has done and is hurting them, I guess a lot more of them need to be hurt by Trump and the Republicans before they see what is going on.
