DOJ announces plans to prioritize cases to revoke citizenship

So it all becomes judgemental, question becomes who decides on who, ultimately, opens too many doors to even be considered
Well, since it is a law, and in order to do this you have to be convicted of the crime, it would be the same justice system as every other crime that would decide it.

Again, the only reason you don't know this is because you didn't bother reading the information provided. You see "Trump is" followed by something you think is "outrageous" and do not bother reading anything and knee jerk a reaction. If this was a story about Trump curing AIDS you would read the headline that says: "Trump bans Doctors from Treating AIDS", wouldn't read the article and would immediately tell us how atrocious "Orange Jesus" is.

We get that, you wind up being wrong about everything, but we get what you are doing.

True, just the mere mention of the DOJ taking away another person’s citizenship is scary

DOJ doesn't. It is a consequence of breaking that particular law. This is like being upset the "DOJ" is taking away the freedom of folks convicted of murder. They aren't, but the fact they were convicted of a crime with a long sentence in prison is "taking away their freedom".

There isn’t much to judge when the person admits to criminal activity and is convicted.

It really, really gets tedious…trying to explain what the poster is too lazy to read.

The receptionist is guilty of this every damn day…other far left loons too.

Perhaps a new rule could be promulgated…if a poster is shown to post about a topic thread that he/she clearly hasn’t read, a two day time out would be put into effect.

I won’t hold my breath though, waiting for this excellent rule.

But is it not the DOJ who is planning to revoke another’s citizenship? I know that it has been done sporadically in the past, but the conveyed intentions here appear more wide in scope. It’s scary stuff, especially given this Administration’s direction of punishing critics and political opponents

The revocations are wide in scope because of the flood of illegals crossing during the vegetable’s term.

Good grief.

The Justice Department is aggressively prioritizing efforts to strip some Americans of their U.S. citizenship.

Department leadership is directing its attorneys to prioritize denaturalization in cases involving naturalized citizens who commit certain crimes — and giving U.S. attorneys wider discretion on when to pursue this tactic, according to a June 11 memo published online. The move is aimed at U.S. citizens who were not born in the country; according to data from 2023, close to 25 million immigrants were naturalized citizens.

At least one person has already been denaturalized in recent weeks. On June 13, a judge ordered the revocation of the citizenship of Elliott Duke, who uses they/them pronouns. Duke is an American military veteran originally from the U.K. who was convicted for distributing child sexual abuse material — something they later admitted they were doing prior to becoming a U.S. citizen.
Sounds like a case to revoke his citizenship to me!
After his sentence is served, deport him back to the UK.

Indeed, Por Dios, the man admitted to distributing child sexual abuse material.

Note that NPR is still worried about pronouns.

They won’t worry on tax payer funding anymore though.

Fallacy fallacy. No goalpost was moved at all. Damo's statement is very clear and consistent.
One hundred percent.

Damo’s statements are very clear and always consistent.

I have tried to catch him in an inconsistency but no luck.

I wish he would stop giving away his votes to the Libertarian Party but the Libertarian Party may win one day…when donkeys file….but he is consistent to his ideals.
