Conservative commentator Candace Owens said she is embarrassed that she told people to vote for President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, calling him "a chronic disappointment."

"Are you done with Donald Trump?" British journalist Piers Morgan asked Owens during his YouTube show Tuesday. Owens responded she did not regret voting for Trump, but that "he has been a chronic disappointment." Owens added that she feels "embarrassed" that she asked people to vote for Trump last year.

“It’s all of the same rhetoric dating back to 9/11. All of the same tactic trying to smear people who are against this war as ‘jihadists,'” Owens said, before adding that the conflict between Israel and Iran was “simply not our business.”

“There was no imminent threat to the United States when Trump made this decision to do what Bibi [Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu] wanted,” Owens said.

She continued: “This was not Trump’s decision. It was Bibi Netanyahu’s decision. And that is the reason that he did it. We’re very aware that Israel is dictating our foreign policy, and we’d now like that to stop.”

Several pro-Trump influencers have openly contradicted Trump on this matter.

One of Trump’s strongest allies in Congress, Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-Ga.), is among those who have opposed U.S. military involvement in the Israel-Iran conflict.

"Foreign wars/intervention/regime change put America last, kill innocent people, are making us broke, and will ultimately lead to our destruction. That's not kooky," Greene wrote on X last week.

InfoWars host Alex Jones, known for spreading conspiracy theories, said: "Trump attacking @TuckerCarlson for not supporting a new WORLD WAR is not something any sane person should support! This is the stuff NIGHTMARES are MADE of…"

Meanwhile, a YouGov/Economist poll released on Tuesday indicated that 60% of Americans across party lines oppose U.S. military participation in the Israel‑Iran conflict.

meet the new boss, same as the old boss

Iran has had 60% enrichment for a long, long time

We had time to allow a larger body to weigh in on how best to handle this. We didn't need war power powers in this case. We don't need a king to protect us from the boogey man either

Iran started its nuclear program during the Shah's regime. There is no reason to believe that a regime change would mean they would stop developing nuclear weapons.

Trump's greed and desire for a Nobel Peace Prize is splitting the MAGAts.

How long before he does something so stupid that "2547" becomes commonly heard in Congress?

MAGA helped Trump to win. He was himself MAGA in the beginning. Now it evaporates. Deep State, globalism, interventionism, regime change operations, Atlanticist solidarity, hegemony are back. It is not MAGA anymore. It is not promised golden age, not High. It’s a shame.

Yep, no bombs. The right claims they are super close to making a bomb, yet no bomb. Can rightys understand that claim of them being close for a long time, but not making a bomb is proof they do not want one.
