Zohran Mondabi wins D primary! Cuomo rejected!

He is going to pay for all his socialism by taxing the rich even more. I predict they will move because they can afford to do it.

While there isn't a precise, publicly available figure for the exact number of top 1% who have moved from NYC, data suggests a significant number of high-income earners have left the city in recent years, particularly during and after the pandemic. This movement is largely attributed to factors like the ability to work remotely, lower taxes, and a perceived better quality of life in other locations.

Here's a more detailed look:
  • Income Tax Revenue Loss:
NYC has experienced a substantial loss in income tax revenue due to out-migration, with a significant portion of that loss attributed to high-income earners.

  • Millionaire Exodus:
Some reports indicate a decline in New York's share of millionaires compared to other states, suggesting a movement of high-net-worth individuals.

  • Popular Destinations:
Florida, particularly Miami and Palm Beach, has seen a notable increase in residents from NYC, including wealthy individuals and families, with billions of dollars in income following them.

  • Top 1% Income Tax Filers:
A report by the Fiscal Policy Institute (FPI) found that in 2020, a significant number of high-income earners (those making over $815,000 annually) left New York, though at a lower rate than other income brackets.

Good NYC is overpopulated.

Washington DC is probably more important.
No, it isn't, you fucking imbecile. Find me ANYONE who says, "Where can we spend the weekend enjoying the world's finest food, watching the best live performances in the world, touring the world's premier cultural attractions, and interacting with the world's most diverse group of energetic strangers? Let's go to Washington, DC!" You're an embarrassing clown.

I love NYC, try to visit at least once a year. I love Manhattan, but it took me years to explore the other burrows and they are awesome. I love Staten Island and The Bronx.

Do you have property there…as your property in N.C. in a city (Cashiers) that you can’t spell and we’re going to move to last summer but didn’t?
