The Big, Beautiful Bombs Were A Bust

I doubt they will do that again. They let Obama send in inspectors, but he did not bomb them.
Agreed they won't allow inspectors without a treaty.

Since Trump dumped the last one, I doubt they'll come back to the table. Instead, they'll just flatter President Two Weeks, dangle a lucrative oil deal in front of him in exchange for alleviating the current sanctions against Iran and promise to maintain the ceasefire.

So let's wait and see how much damage.. There was more than just the uranium in those facilities...Let me know if you see pictures of the uhauls returning to the scene though....;) oh...and before I forget... Setting them back two months from what?
That is a good question since our intel said they were not making a bomb, or certainly not close to one. I suppose back to running so they could reach 60 percent again and make better medical imaging and submarine fuel.

He can be bought, maybe they’ll buy a phone!

Like all the JPP MAGAts, Trump hears and sees only what he wants to hear and see. I have no doubt the Pentagon gave him an extensive briefing on the risks and likely outcome of the Iran mission.

Per Trump's personality, he probably kept asking the same or similar question over and over again until he "heard" the answer he wanted to hear.

Something like "Can these bombs take out the facility?"
Answer, "they could do substantial damage including obliterate the power supply and entrances."
Trump hears "obliterate" and orders the mission to be executed.
There's no one giving Trump sound and prudent advice.
Hegswith is nothing but a yes man, and he's probably selecting people to brief Trump on exactly what Trump wants to hear. Being a contrarian in the Trump regime can get you fired.

Exclusive: Early US intel assessment suggests strikes on Iran did not destroy nuclear sites

The US military strikes on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities last weekend did not destroy the core components of the country’s nuclear program and likely only set it back by months, according to an early US intelligence assessment that was described by four people briefed on it.

The assessment, which has not been previously reported, was produced by the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon’s intelligence arm. It is based on a battle damage assessment conducted by US Central Command in the aftermath of the US strikes, one of the sources said.

The analysis of the damage to the sites and the impact of the strikes on Iran’s nuclear ambitions is ongoing, and could change as more intelligence becomes available. But the early findings are at odds with President Donald Trump’s repeated claims that the strikes “completely and totally obliterated” Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth also said on Sunday that Iran’s nuclear ambitions “have been obliterated.”

The strike did not damage underground facilities.

"A preliminary classified U.S. report says the American bombing of Iran’s nuclear sites sealed off the entrances to two of the facilities but did not collapse their underground buildings, according to officials familiar with the findings.

The early findings conclude that the strikes over the weekend set back Iran’s nuclear program by only a few months, the officials said.

Before the attack, U.S. intelligence agencies had said that if Iran tried to rush to making a bomb, it would take about three months. After the U.S. bombing run and days of attacks by the Israeli Air Force, the report by the Defense Intelligence Agency estimated that the program was delayed less than six months.

Former officials said that any rushed effort by Iran to get a bomb would be to develop a relatively small and crude device. A miniaturized warhead would be far more difficult to produce, and it is not clear how much damage to that more advanced research has taken place..."
Tough to say at this point, definitely was a blow to Iran’s nuclear ambitions, but for now, not the total victory Trump is working to frame it as

You're such an incredible fool!

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that uranium particles enriched up to 83.7% were found at Iran's Fordo nuclear facility. This is very close to weapons-grade uranium, which is typically enriched to 90%. The IAEA is in discussions with Iran to clarify the situation, as this enrichment level exceeds the limits set by the 2015 nuclear deal.

Funny because it could very well happen with President Two Weeks.

Iran about 90 Million people; slightly less than the populatoin of California, Texas and Florida combined. Times $500 is $45B. Iran loses between $60B and $100B per year due to the sanctions led by the US.

Is there any doubt that Donald J. Trump, through his two sons, would cut a deal with Iran to buy $45B worth of phones, maybe even every 3-4 years, in exchange for lifting the sanctions?

Would Bibi scream about it? Of course, but for Donnie, life really is all about his personal profit. I have no doubt he'd sell out his own kids if the price was right. Why wouldn't this President sell out his own office for personal gain? He's already doing it. Iran would just add to the bank account.

Agreed. Trump only wants to hear what he wants to hear. The two cabinet meetings I've seen are the purest examples of sycophants jerking off their boss on global television I've ever seen since first watching American TV.

All Trump wants is a buffer between his own ass and any adverse consequences of his actions. If something goes wrong, he'll burn whichever sycophant is most convenient.
