Iran was cheating on the Iranian deal they also would not allow inspection as promised. The deal was for 10 years and would be over by now.

We didn't get "stuck" in Iraq or Afghanistan, it was a money laundering operation organized by the military industrial complex/deep state.

Fear of that happening again is totally rational, but it was never unintentional.

The conventional military of Iraq was destroyed in a week. Everyone who fought in the open in Afghanistan was defeated in two weeks. Nothing logistically prevented a full withdrawal at that point.

Iran can't even develop WW II era weapons; everything they have now as far as tech is imported, and relies on imports. They aren't developing power plants, they're building bombs, and when they get them they will start using them on both us and Israel and others they want to extort. They aren't anywhere near the tech levels for the HTGR stuff. They're going for 60% + and on up to 87%, far above any currently possible power plant use.

I appreciate the info, though. WE should building those, and in fact I ran across a couple of companies who are developing small nuclear plants, called SMR's, you probably already know about. This will allow small towns far away from the main cities to produce power without the hideous expenses for transmission lines. Transmission lines and maintenance are over 80% of electricity costs, not the power plants.
