Us bombed iran

It looks like the war between Iran and Israel is just about over. Mr. World Peace Maker Trump having put a stop to Iran's nuclear
development insures the whole world that Iran the #1 state sponsored terrorist threat to the world will no longer exist.
You are so fucking demented.

Time will tell. How many dead Americans would be justified by Trump's War?
Zero dead Americans. Well ahead of Trump's amazingly accurate bombing of Iran's hellhole many Americans in both Israel
and the nations like Iraq, Syria et al where we have American bases were given a head's up to move out of their current venues.
And many of them indeed take Trump's warning by moving out of Iran's possible bombing of those sites. Even the great
Republican governor DeSantis of Florida paid for a jet(s) to remove some 150 or so people from Israel for their safety.

No Americans have died in the attack on the Iranian nuclear sites.

Some sources indicate that Iranian military action, often working through proxies, has led to the deaths of
well over a thousand American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan over the last decade and a half. The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs states that this includes approximately 1,100 US deaths in Iraq attributable to Iran's support for Iraqi insurgents, as well as other Coalition troops. However, the Pentagon stated in 2019 that at least 603 US personnel deaths in Iraq were the result of Iran-backed militants.

It is important to note that these figures may not represent the totality of deaths. The Foundation for Defense of Democracies lists additional attacks, some of which resulted in the deaths of American citizens. These include:

  • The 1983 Beirut bombings, which killed 63 US military members and 17 Americans at the US Embassy.
  • The killing of three US soldiers in a drone attack on a base in Jordan in January 2024.
  • Hamas attacks that killed at least 48 Americans and kidnapped at least 12 others in October 2023.
  • Attacks on US personnel in Iraq between 2003 and 2011, which the Pentagon linked to at least 603 deaths.
Additional examples of attacks targeting Americans, as outlined by the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, can be found here: Iranian and Iranian-Backed Attacks Against Americans (1979 - present).

You're going to guarantee not a single drop of American blood will be shed because of Trump's actions in Iran, Hater? Wow.

I do hope you are correct, but given how Trump has decimated US intelligence and Federal LEOs protecting the nation from terrorism both at home and abroad, I'm not as confident as you.

The fact you are admitting Americans have to run from the ME tells me you aren't as confident either.

To be crystal clear; I support efforts to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons but disagree starting a war in the ME is the best path.

The U.S. Embassy in Qatar is advising American citizens in the country to shelter in place, amid the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel.

“Out of an abundance of caution we recommend American citizens shelter in place until further notice,” reads the U.S. Embassy alert, which was dated Monday.

The notice comes as the world braces for Iran’s response after President Trump on Saturday evening ordered U.S. strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites: in Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow, the last of which is located inside a mountain.

Fears are running high that Iran could retaliate against any of the 40,000 U.S. forces in the Middle East or through other means and targets.

A “heightened threat environment” exists because of Trump’s order to attack Iran, according to a federal bulletin issued to the public Sunday by the Department of Homeland Security, which warned of potential cyberattacks carried out by Iran or its proxies.

The State Department on Sunday also issued a “Worldwide Caution Security Alert” advising U.S. citizens overseas to exercise increased caution, noting “the potential for demonstrations against U.S. citizens and interests abroad.”

Diplomacy should always be the first option.

IMO, military action is the last option with the third option of Intelligence operations being the second one used.

Iran has been spreading terrorism for decades and seems intent upon spreading "the Islamic Revolution".

Like the USSR and PRC aims of spreading communism through asymmetrical warfare (terrorism and guerrilla groups), the solution with Iran seems to be economic, free trade. Iran wants an economy that isn't dependent upon oil. This is for the same reasons other nations want to do the same: a petroleum-based society is coming to an end, and local economies need to prepare for it. Oil producers need to look ahead at the next 50 years. Oil consumers are already shifting to cut their use of oil.

That said, it's difficult to open both negotiations and trade talks with Iran if they keep fomenting terrorism across the region.
Now the madman's toying with the idea of regime change. It's Iraq all over again. He'll put boots on the ground, lives will be lost, and all to feed his enormous ego.

How long before Americans start dying for Trump's War? A week? A month? 3 months?

The Iranians play the long game and are not stupid. I'm guessing they'll do something that keeps weakening support for Trump both at home and abroad. Maybe trying to incite him to doing something very unpopular among American voters and further splitting the MAGA base.

Very true Earl. And yet Democrat cry and say that it was an unprovoked attack. You can only poke a sleeping lion so many times before he pounces.

So the US can't be proactive in our defense but we should pay for Ukraine's defense?

Isn't giving Ukraine weapons and money interventionist foreign policy??
I'm good with it but the point isn't being proactive. The point is that Trump and his MAGAt asskissers are hypocrites for condemning proactive defense against our enemies when it's a Democrat then applauding it when it's the Orange Messiah going to war.

DeSantis = America's best governor.

Russia and China are backing Iran. China is supposed to have backed the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. America will pay for Daffy Donald's attack.
If the Strait is blockaded, that will most certainly result in a regional war as the price of oil shoots through the roof.

Iran would be demanding a regime change at that point.
