I suspect the Iranians don't see it that way. Since Trump has degraded the FBI and our intelligence agencies plus focused most of our military and law enforcement capability towards deportations of families, Iran will have an easier time of infiltrating the US and conduct an attack on US soil.

Anyone who thinks Iran will just quit and go back to herding goats is a moron.

All true. Before bombing Iran, Trump first largely dismantled our intelligence networks, internal security (FBI) and external security (CIA). He's beefed up DHS with Deportation Barbie to focus on mass deportations while weakening all other forms of US protections.

I suspect Iran will hit back in one form or another by finding a way through all the holes Trump has put into the US defense and intelligence networks.
