Iran threatens to strike US bases

We have 800 military bases. We threaten everybody. They were not built with peaceful intentions. They spread American power and presence across the globe.

I think it is time for them to use a EMB, electron magnetic burst , for one thing it would show us just what they can do, do they / can they shut down just about everything electronic?
If they do there would be no communication, no electric , nothing would run , Heck use one so we can see what happens and that maybe we should start " Hardening " / shield our electric / communication infrastructure .
Might as well get some info out of this, Heck they have found out our F35 isn't as good as we thought , Heck Iran shot one down already in this war.

So they claim. The F35 has the signature of a golf ball. Given the numbers involved, the Iranians could have gotten lucky but it's more likely they'd have shot down an F16 or F15 not three F-35s as they claim.

Time will tell.

According to semi-official outlets IRNA and Press TV, Iranian air defences brought down a third Israeli F-35 stealth fighter in the early hours of Saturday. One pilot is reported to have died; another has allegedly been captured alive after ejecting. Iran has not released any visual proof, and military bloggers have questioned the authenticity of circulating images that purport to show the wreckage. The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) have dismissed the entire narrative as “fabricated.”

Colonel Avichay Adraee, IDF’s Arabic-language spokesperson, said, “This news being spread by Iranian media is completely baseless.”...

I am just saying IF it was a F35 then we have to go back and re-test ours and see what we can do about it.

There's no doubt the F35 had problems. Leading edge tech always does. Look at the Marine Corps AV8. Still, both are very effective weapons.

There's also no doubt that, if the Iranians aren't lying their asses off to save face, that the shootdowns will be examined to avoid further occurrences.

For the US, our tactics are night attack after smoking all of their radar installations with electronic warfare aircraft on a moonless night. I suspect the Israelis aren't stupid enough to conduct a daylight attack with manned aircraft.

EMB are nuclear burst we sure do not want that.

NOT here for sure, it would destroy this country,
I was just suggesting they could use one on Iran, and people would see what a EMB can do and maybe start building our infrastructure so be EMB resistant so not everything we have that is electronic controlled doesn't go down if somebody uses one against us.
Being an extra class Ham I and a lot other Hams have at least one 2 meter radio in a Faraday cage , and in my case I also have a 10 -to - 160 meter radio too. at least some body will have communication and will be able to help.
