Democratic lawmakers shot

The King of Thailand is a pedophile who imprisons anyone who speaks ill of him.

King John of England was such a tyrant that his own people revolted against him and forced him to sign the Magna Carta protecting the rights of his barons.

A couple English Revolutions followed in the 1600s.

The American colonies revolted against the British King and became the first nation to throw off the yoke of monarchy. Had King George III been in the colonies at the time, he'd have probably met the same fate as King Charles I.

No kings is Americanism. Anti-Americans will disagree.

Most modern kings are innocuous.
If we're going to protest what used to be,
it seems that the time could be better spent.

We already know that being critical of America
is being "anti-American" to "True Believers" like yourself, Oom,
but I've never attributed any merit to that position.

I'm well left of you politically,
but as somebody who was in the trenches supporting Democratic Party causes in younger days,
and who still contributes money to the DNC,
I feel entitled to criticize some things that modern liberals are doing.

I've done it with "woke" and grammatically incorrect pronouns.
I've done it with "Occupy Wall Street."
I've done it with supporting jihadist Palestinians.

I'm doing it with "No Kings,"
but in this case, it's not protesting against totalitarianism to which I'm objecting;
it's just the stupid name given to the movement.

Sort of like legitimizing the Ebonic name "Juneteenth."
I respect the language too much for that shit.
Texans aren't so fussy about it as I learned from Dubya and Rick Perry.

You're free to support Trump and believe he'll be your benevolent, enlightened King. :)

I'm free to do whatever the fuck I want if I can afford it,
and even you don't think that I support Pigshit.

If we actually had a benevolent and enlightened king, however,
I probably would support him.
Quality of life is the principle that surpasses all others in my values structure.

Denmark and The Netherlands have kings, and the Danes and Dutch have better quality of life than we do,
at least by my standards and priorities.

Of course you are, Nifty. You still live in a free country. Well, at least until your King takes over.
