WTF are you talking about? Personal costs would be minimal as I've been to and around DC many, many times and know where to eat and stay for minimal cost. Travel cost? Hell, I'm not that far from Baltimore/DC, probably not much more than a 1/4 tank of gas both ways.

Understandable, networks are based on profit, the Saturday sports programming will easily outdraw a military parade, and if you add in the politics, it’s an easy call

Has next to nothing to do with honoring the military, if they gave the Army $56 million to spend the last thing they would spend it on is a parade, this is Trump’s parade, orchestrated by Trump, and for Trump, to celebrate Trump

As it is, all of the networks are carrying the parade on their streaming services. It's only their broadcast services that they'll show the sports games. Games they had to pay to broadcast.
