Kind of puts a lie to the whole claim that anyone who disagrees with trump is part of the "Uniparty." In the real world, often other people are "loose cannons" in that they will not do exactly what they are ordered too.
A competent leader tries to keep the lines of communication open to these "loose cannons" who have different opinions to us. No previous president uninvited Senators in a mean girl episode.
trump uninvited Paul, and then publicly said he was invited, but did not actual re-invite him. It is possible Paul could get in if he shows up, but also is very possible he would be "detained" for showing up without an invite. No one wants to be detained, so it is doubtful he will go.
This really is mean girls crossed with Hitler.
It is a simple fact that he was uninvited. It may have been an "administrative error", or something done by a junior member of the administration, but it happened. If trump feels it happened in error, he has to go out of his way to apologize for the error, and put in writing that Paul is invited.
If it were a junior staffer(they all seem to be junior with trump) then the first step is to apologize profusely. Many times the annoyance to the president for having to do this will cause them to fire the junior staffer. The next step is to get a new invite to Paul, and combine that with a phone call asking him to come.
A post in social media is of no legal importance. Without an actual invite, Paul will probably be arrested if he tries to get into the White House. trump has done nothing to fix that.
The way the real world works, trump has a very close Congress, and desperately needs support from where he can find it. trump's childish behavior is hurting himself, and this nation in general.
How could anyone have any respect for mean girl trump?
Many Republicans in the Senate are against the bill as it is now. The Senate Republican leadership is trying to rewrite the bill so that enough Republicans in the Senate support it that it can pass. They are not going to get all the Republicans to support it. Then it has to go back to the House, where it passed by only one vote, and get approval for the changes.
Worse yet, it is a huge deficit bill, so all the Republicans that voted for it will be known as huge deficit Republicans.

Tell the board exactly what your pivot will be when Rand Paul attends the picnic as though he was never disinvited, and Trump avails himself of the opportunity to convince Paul to see the bill his way, as Trump indicated?
