President Trump Orders Federal Agencies to “Take Any Action Necessary” to “Liberate Los Angeles” from Illegal Alien Invaders

The rioters think this is all a game, they are smiling and cheering.

When the legal dust settles, massive deportations after house-to-house searches, will change that tune.

Some of those deportations will be delayed by a 10-20 year prison sentence.

They are confident that the people who pay them are going to win.

They are likely correct.

This all reminds me of an episode from Star Trek TNG titled "Hero Worship". Trump's heavy handed tactics are creating a negative feedback loop. I suspect there's only one way to stop it propertly, not sure if he'll figure it out. Here's Wikipedia's desription of Star Trek TNG's "Hero Worship" climactic scene:
**
A shock wave rocks the Enterprise. Worf raises the shields, but the next shock wave is stronger. As additional power is diverted to the shields, the waves intensify. Timothy recalls the Vico's crew following similar procedures, including La Forge's suggestion of redirecting power from the warp engines. Sparked by Timothy's words, Data runs a quick analysis and realizes that the shields themselves are creating the shock waves, and strengthening them further would result in the ship being torn apart. Picard orders the shields lowered, and the next wave is harmless.

I try to stay away from all the personal attacks, I think that helps :-p. But more importantly, I don't really have anywhere else to go. I post in another forum called repolitics a bit, but I'm pretty sure it has a lot less traffic than this site.

I've only been banned from some, but I felt that the writing was on the wall for others with "warnings". I think it's a good thing that I passed through a lot of other forums in the past as it made me appreciate the moderation team here being more relaxed as to language. I myself am pretty good at staying civil, but I think that the mods practicing a more laissez faire attitude here makes it so that they don't start micro managing interactions amoung forum users. The reason I think this is important is because try as they might, moderators can't seem avoid their own biases, which tends to result in them giving warnings or outright banning people they don't agree with politically. The less they micromanage, the less this tends to happen.

This place is run by 2.5 people.

THIN.

There's no reason to protest a Flag Day parade that also celebrates the 250th birthday of the Army...Unless you hate America...;)
So no need for even the barest minimum of local Law Enforcement to waste precious manpower giving them any attention...
The LA riots...another story...if there's danger to the community and to law enforcement, do what needs to be done...Keep them there for as long as necessary...
